Making this tasty three color cookie recipe can be a fun way to teach young children about different colors. You could make cookies using the primary colors or show children how to mix those colors to create some of their other favorites.
Let your child help you make the dough, or if you’re dealing with a large group of children, at least let them help you color it so they can see the color mixing process. Children love to cook! Letting them bake with you is also a great opportunity to teach them about ingredients, measurements, and cooking terms. As you let them help you roll the dough balls and flatten the cookies, you can teach them about size comparison and textures.
