Every parent knows the pain of battling their kids to eat their fruits and vegetables. Have you set timers? Bargained with your children? Given up entirely because you were sick of the sobbing?
Most kids will eat their fruit, if served this way! You’ll spend much less time putting together a cute fruit face on their plate than you normally would fighting them to eat it. Not only does it take the frustration out of trying to feed your kids something healthy, but it makes the fruit fun and exciting for them. You might even let them help make their own face and pick out the fruit they want on it.

All you need to make these simple fruit faces are round sugar cookies, cool whip, and various cut up fruit (grapes, oranges, mango, kiwi, blueberries, raspberries, apples, melon, pineapple or any other fruit you can think of). Simply spread the sugar cookie with cool whip and add your chosen fruits!
Adult Version: Make a fruit pizza by spreading sugar cookie dough onto a pizza pan or cookie sheet. Bake as directed and let it cool. Then spread with cool whip and decorate with fruit!
